Join me for this wonderful series on learning how to nourish yourself through wholesome foods in an easy and practical way. We will dive deep into the theory of healing with whole foods, including detailed information about Ayurvedic nutrition, fermentation, soaking and sprouting, raw foods, superfoods and gluten-free living. Then, we will apply this knowledge in some delicious recipes so you get all the tools you need to implement simple changes in your own kitchen. This is a very practical, hands-on class series. No prior knowledge of Ayurveda, cooking or nutrition is necessary.

Module 1 (October 7): Food as Medicine. Choosing the Right Foods, Eating Seasonally According to Ayurveda and Food Combining for Optimal Health and Nutrition.

Recipes: Digestive Spice Churna, Immune-Boosting Winter Tea, Turmeric Ghee, Nourishing Carrot-Ginger Soup, Date-Cardamom Cashew Balls.

Module 2 (November 4): Detox Dishes, Raw Foods and Healthy Snacks.

·Easy detox dishes 

·Soaking and sprouting for optimal digestion

·Learn about the most important anti-oxidant superfoods and how to use them 

·Easy breakfast recipes and snacks for people on the go

·Tips for traveling and eating out

Recipes: Jamu-Balinese Turmeric Elixir, Liver Cleansing Breakfast Smoothie, Detox Salad with Greens, Gojji and Avocado, Sprouted Mung Bean Soup, Anti-oxidant Almond Truffles, Raw Avocado Chocolate Mousse.
